Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of simplifying and downsizing a structure to attach an object to be attached to a tip of a rod and to dispose another object to be attached, thus reducing the cost, and to provide a robot using the actuator.SOLUTION: The actuator includes: a housing; a screw installed in the housing, to be driven rotatably upward; a nut installed in the housing in a state of being screwed onto the screw, to be moved in an axial direction by rotation of the screw; a slider attached to the nut, to be moved with the nut in the axial direction by the rotation of the screw; and a rod which is moved with the nut by the rotation of the screw, which can be rotatably driven, and to which an object to be attached is attached. An opening is provided at the housing and a part of the slider is disposed so as to be exposed outside through the opening, where a user can attach another object to be attached than the object to be attached fixed to the rod.
