Abstract:
To provide an actuator which makes drive sound less likely to occur even if a thickness of a flat plate part of a cover member is reduced, and to provide a tactile device.SOLUTION: In an actuator 1, a movable body 6 is disposed between a first flat plate part 310 of a first cover member 31 and a second flat plate part 320 of a second cover member 32 and the movable body 6 is vibrated to output information. The first flat plate part 310 is provided with a first projection part 316 which extends so as to partition the first flat plate part 310 into multiple areas. Between the movable body 6 and the first flat plate part 310, first viscoelastic members 91 are disposed at the areas partitioned by the first projection part 316. In the first flat plate part 310, a groove 317 is formed at the opposite side of the first projection part 316. In the groove 317, a filling member 16 formed by a rigid member or an elastic member may be disposed. The second flat plate part 320 of the second cover member 32 has a similar structure to the first flat plate part 310.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
