Abstract:
To obtain an actuator which is easy for processing, assembling, and integration.
An enclosed chamber 10 is formed by laminating a hole-opened plate 4 having a through-hole 8 on a flat board 2, the enclosed chamber 10 is sealed up by covering an opening of the enclosed chamber 10 with an elastic body 12. Fluid 16 is sealed up in the enclosed chamber 10. A heat generating body 18 for heating the fluid 16 for causing phase transition is stuck on the board 2. When the fluid 16 is heated by the heat generating body 18, the volume change accompanying the phase-transition of the fluid 16 is converted into a linear motion.
