To provide a high-performance and practical actuator that is reduced in size, through using a jet blast of an electrical conjugate fluid as a direct source of power.
The actuator is provided with the electrical conjugate fluid, a fluid storing portion for sealing closely and storing the electrical conjugate fluid, a moving member moving inside the fluid storing portion by the jet blast of the electrical conjugate fluid, a driving member having attraction relation to the moving member by magnetic force via the storing member, and at least a pair of electrodes forming the jet blast of the electrical conjugate fluid by means of an applied voltage. The actuator moves a magnet within a chassis by using the jet blast of the electrical conjugate fluid to transmit a driving force outward via a wall of the chassis by the magnetic force.
