PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of restraining a load torque from being transmitted to a motor side, for example.SOLUTION: An actuator of this invention includes: a motor; and a friction transmission mechanism having an input rotation element rotating around a rotation center in accordance with rotation of the motor, an output rotation element rotating around the rotation center, and an elastic member pressing the input rotation element and the output rotation element, and transmitting rotation between the input rotation element and the output rotation element by friction. One of the input rotation element and the output rotation element has a cam surface, and the other of the input rotation element and the output rotation element supports a cam which can be slid with the cam surface around the rotation center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
