Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which suppresses incorrect position detection of an output shaft.SOLUTION: An actuator includes: a pulse generator unit which generates a pulse signal according to a rotation angle of an output shaft which rotates by torque output from a drive source; and a position control unit which controls the drive source in such a manner that the output shaft approaches a target position, according to the pulse signal generated from the pulse generator unit. The pulse generator unit generates the pulse signal having an initialization pattern when the output shaft reaches a rotation origin position. The actuator includes: an incorrect recognition determination unit which determines whether or not there is the possibility of incorrect recognition by the position control unit that the target position is the origin position, due to a waveform disturbance of the pulse signal at the target position; and an avoidance control unit which performs operation to avoid occurrence of the incorrect recognition, when the incorrect recognition determination unit determines that there is the possibility of the incorrect recognition by the position control unit that the target position is the origin position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10A
