Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which can be driven for a long period, in a state in which a fixed preload is impressed upon a laminated piezoelectric element in the direction of lamination of the element, and to provide injection equipment. SOLUTION: The actuator is provided with a displacement generating laminated piezoelectric element 1, which is constituted by alternately laminating a piezoelectric material and internal electrodes upon another, a base member 3 one end of which in the laminating direction of the element 1 is fixed, and a preload impressing case 5 one end section of which is fixed to the member 3 and which houses the element 1. The actuator is also provided with a preload impressing section 9, positioned between the internal surface of the case 5 and the other end of the element 1 in the laminating direction of the element 1. The section 9 has a spring member 13 installed to the other end of the element 1 in the laminating direction of the element 1 and a preload impressing laminated piezoelectric element 1, positioned between the member 13 and the internal surface of the case 5.
