To relieve fatigue and stiffness in a human head by placing a plurality of pressing members on a cover for the human head in such a way that the members correspond to pressure points on the human head, and projecting each pressing member by the required length toward the head.
Pressing members 16 are placed around almost the overall periphery of a helmet-shaped cover 10. The pressing member 16 is a pneumatic cylinder, and an elastic body providing acupressure action is mounted on the part of the pressing member projecting to the inside surface of the cover 10. An external compressed air supply source 44 and a control part 14 are connected to the pressing members 16 via flexible tubes 12. To use the acupressure device, compressed air supplied form the external compressed air supply source 44 is supplied to the pressing members 16 via the control part 14 at predetermined timing to cause the pressing members 16 to move back and forth. Therefore, the elastic body can be pressed against pressure points on the human head.
