Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and apparatus for adaptive antenna management capable of transmitting and receiving signals using a variable number of transmitting or receiving antennas using LTE radio access technology.SOLUTION: User equipment (UE) derives and determines switch points for switching between different antenna configurations for at least one of uplink and downlink communications, on the basis of transmission timing of at least one of transmitting channel state information (CSI) feedback and transmitting uplink reference signals. The UE adjusts parameters for transmitting the at least one of CSI feedback and uplink reference signals on the basis of the determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
