Abstract:

To generate the pseudo transmission signal of less square average error by generating the pseudo transmission data of a prescribed section through the use of a specified tap coefficient.

In an adaptive equalizing method for generating pseudo transmission data constituted of plural pseudo transmission data based on a reception signal constituted of plural reception data, data from (nD)-th pseudo transmission data based on (nD)-th reception data x(nD) to (nD+D-1)-th pseudo transmission data based on (nD+D-1)-th reception data x(nD+D-1) are generated with the condition of L<D by using the tap coefficient C(nD) obtained based on a formula. In the formula, C(nD) and C(nD-D) are the tap coefficients, (n) and (D) are the integers of not less than '1', μ is a step size (real number), L is the number of added data (integer of not less than '2'), e(nD-i) is an error contained in (nD-i)-th pseudo transmission data and x(nD-i) is (nD-i)-th reception data.
