Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tap weight control method which speeds up the convergence of the adaptive filter using the sine-sine algorithm.
SOLUTION: The adaptive filter has an acrylic filter, obtains a correlation value 13 by multiplying the sum 12 of an error signal and additive noise by the values of an input signal 11 at respective taps, and updates the weight coefficients 19 of the respective taps with the product of the value obtained by passing the correlation value 13 through a correlative nonlinear processor 1 and a step gain 18, and the nonlinear function of the correlative nonlinear processor 1 is used as the width function of the correlation value and the width number 16 of the width function is controlled with an estimated value 15 of the electric power of the error signal. The estimated value 15 is found by finding the mean value 14 of the correlation value 13 by a leakage accumulator 2 and squaring the means value 14.
