Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive notch filter which can make notch characteristics steep and accelerate a convergence in adaptive operation.
SOLUTION: An SSB detection output, which is set to a constant level by an automatic level process circuit 8 by receiving the SSB detection output, is supplied to an SGA adaptive notch filter 10 which has notch characteristics, which are gentler than that of an IIR notch filter 6 which eliminates interference waves in the SSB detection output to output. When the SSB detection output level is at the constant level or higher, a notch convergence signal in the SGA adaptive notch filter 10 is supplied to the IIR notch filter 6, as it is; and when the SSB detection output level is at less than the constant level, a notch convergence signal of a value obtained by multiplying a value of the notch convergence signal in the SGA adaptive notch filter 10 by a coefficient of less than 1, based on the SSB detection output level is supplied to the IIR notch filter 6; and a filter coefficient of the IIR notch filter 6 is controlled, based on the supplied notch convergence signal.
