Title:
ADAPTIVE OBLIVION COEFFICIENT CONTROL ADAPTIVE FILTER AND OBLIVION COEFFICIENT ADAPTIVE CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3707443
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize average errors in self-multiplication by adaptively control ling an oblivion coefficient, in identification of an unknown system for changes in non-stationary state, in an adaptive filter, using the least-squares algorithm sequentially.
SOLUTION: An oblivion coefficient is adaptively controlled by updating it, using a gradient concerned with the oblivion coefficient of an error signal. The specific update equation for the oblivion coefficient becomes: λ(n)=1-λc(n); λc(n+1)=λc(n)+ρGe(n+1)e(n)aT(n+1)g(n)/λc(n) Here, λc(n) is the complement of the oblivion coefficient λ(n) at the time n, ρG is the coefficient of adaptive control, e(n) is an error signal, a(n+1) is the vector of a reference input signal, and g(n) is Kalman's gain.
