Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform adaptive processing corresponding to the level of an audio signal component or that of a noise component.
CONSTITUTION: Main input and reference input ((n*)-n) are formed from the output of microphones 1, 2. A comparator 21 compares a remainder component (ε) with the reference input ((n*)-n), then, a ratio Ri can be formed. A step gain (g) in accordance with a ratio R is found at a step gain setting circuit 22. An adaptive filter 9 updates a load coefficient Wnk based on the step gain (μ), and controls the ratio of reduction of a noise level.
