Abstract:

PURPOSE: To implement adaptive processing effectively by devising the processing unit such that it processes a non-steady signal as a steady signal.
CONSTITUTION: A 1st A/D converter 20M converts a major input signal into a digital signal by the oversampling system. A 2nd A/D converter 20R converts a reference input signal with strong correlation with a reduction object signal in the major input signal into a digital signal by the oversampling system. An adaptive filter circuit 40 obtains a signal approximated to the reduction object signal in the major input signal based on an output digital signal of the 2nd A/D converter 20R. A synthesis circuit 30 subtracts an output signal of the adaptive filter circuit 40 from the output digital signal of the 1st A/D converter 20M. The subtraction output signal of the synthesis circuit 30 is fed back to the adaptive filter circuit 40, in which adaptive processing is implemented so that the power of the output signal of the synthesis circuit 30 is minimized.
