To provide an adaptor for changing of a portable electronic appliance capable of suppressing increase in the number of chargers, charging outside home, and suppressing production cost.

This adaptor for charging 100 consists of a general purpose adaptor part 2 for being connected to a charger 1 for a portable telephone; two contacts 21 installed in the general purpose connector part 2; a cord 3 taken out of the contacts 21; and a connecting terminal 4 installed at the end of the cord 3. A secondary battery 51 on the inside of an electronic clock 5 is connected to a terminal 53 for charging in both electrodes. A connector part 11 having a shape matching with the shape of the portable telephone main body is installed in the charger 1. Contacts on the charger side 12 connected to an AC power source are arranged at regular intervals on the inside of the connector part 11. The contacts on the charger side 12 are connected to an AC power source cord 14. The general purpose connector part 2 is formed so as to match with the shape of the connector part 11, and two contacts 21 are arranged at the same intervals as that of the contacts on the charger side 12. When the general purpose connector part 2 is inserted in the connector part 11, the contacts 21 come in contact with the contacts on the charger side 12.
