Title:
ADDITIONAL DAMPING MECHANISM OF LARGE-SCALED DOME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1181742
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain the effect of lowering transitional vibration responsiveness by disposing an opening capable of flow-in and out of the air, producing additional attenuation by flow-in and out of the air, and eliminating the conventional dynamic vibration absorber and an additional attenuation device.

An opening part for ventilation 06 is disposed as an opening part in the vicinity coming into contact with a building 01 and a roof 02, and the effect of additional attenuation is produced owing to pressure loss by the going-in and out of the air. For instance, in the case where the roof 02 causes deformation in which the volume of an inside space is remarkably changed, the air flows in and out from the opening part for the ventilation 06 existing between the roof 02 and the building 01. Therefor a pressure difference between the inside space and a building outside is prodused owing to pressure loss by the shape of the opening part for the ventilation 06, and the additional attenuation is produced for the deformation of the roof 02. Thus, air flow energy is reduced by orifice effect at the time when the air of a dome inside and outside passes through an air opening in response to the deformation of the roof 02. Thereby responsiveness of transitional vibration is reduced to simplify structure so as to be made lightweight.
