Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title additive for slurry transportable with pump and usable as a boiler fuel for power plant, etc., as it is, by using an (alkyl) naphthalene sulfonic acid condensate (salt) and ramson gum as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective additive contains (A) an (alkyl)naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate having an average condensation degree of 10-500 (preferably 35-100) or its salt and (B) ramson gum which is a natural polysaccharide of formula (M<+> is Na, Ca or K) as essential components. The amount of the component A to be added to the coal-water slurry is 0.01-5.0wt.% (preferably 0.03-2.0wt.%) and that of the component B is 0.001-0.5wt.% (preferably 0.005-0.2wt.%) base on the slurry.
