To provide an additive composition for lubricants that can give a base oil for lubricants superior resistances to load, metal corrosion, and emulsification.SOLUTION: An additive composition for lubricants contains an ester compound (A) represented by formula (1) of 10-90 mass%, and a specific ester compound (B) of 0.1-5 mass% and a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent (C) of 5-85 mass%. [R1 is a single bond between carbon atoms of carbonyl groups, or a C1-4 divalent hydrocarbon group, and R2 is a C4-22 hydrocarbon group.
