Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a plating layer having superior press formability and adhesion to a coating film by using an acrylic polymer contg. monomeric units of acrylic ester having a group obtd. by adding a compd. having an epoxy group to a specified functional group by a specified mol% of the total amt. of all the repeating units. CONSTITUTION:A (meth)acrylic polymer contg. monomeric units of (meth)acrylic ester having a group obtd. by adding a compd. having an epoxy group to a functional group represented by formula I by >=5mol% of the total amt. of all the repeating units is used as an additive for plating having high function. In the formula I, A is CnH2n (n is a positive integer) and each of R1 and R2 is H or alkyl. A plating layer having superior corrosion resistance after coating and fine appearance (fanciness) can be obtd.
