Abstract:
To bond soft materials such as resins and rubbers so that sufficient adhesive strength can be exhibited against force applied in a shear direction.SOLUTION: An adhesion method includes: a process of forming a plurality of grooves in each of a joint surface 11b of a first member 10 and a joint surface 21b of a second member 20; and a process of bonding the first member 10 and the second member 20 so that the joint surfaces 11b and 21b face each other with an intervening layer of an adhesive 30 and the adhesive extends from a layer of the adhesive 30 to fill the plurality of grooves on the joint surfaces 11b and 21b, respectively. In the process of bonding, for the plurality of grooves formed on the joint surface 11b and the plurality of grooves formed on the joint surface 21b, at least one groove each is bonded so that at least a portion of the grooves extend opposite each other across the layer of adhesive 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
