This adhesive composition contains 80-170 pt.wt. inorganic filler, 35-70 pt.wt. polyvinyl alcohol containing carbonyl group and 0.2-5 pt.wt. hydrazine compound based on 100 pts.wt. resin portion of an acrylic resin emulsion and also ≥50 pt.wt. amine compound based on 100 pts.wt. the above hydrazine compound. A paper tube is prepared by winding a belt like paper strip as a tubular state, and adhering the overlapping parts of the tubularly wound belt like paper strip with the above adhesive composition.
