Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a vinyl acetate resin emulsion adhesive composition having excellent initial adhesivity and obtain a paper tube produced by using the composition.
CONSTITUTION: This adhesive composition is composed mainly of a vinyl acetate resin emulsion having an average particle diameter of 2-5μm and obtained by the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate monomer or vinyl acetate monomer and an ethylenic unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with vinyl acetate monomer in the presence of a vinyl acetate resin emulsion. This invention also relates to a paper tube produced by using the above adhesive composition.
