To provide an adhesive composition which has suitable adhesiveness between PET and polyolefins such as PP and PE and between PET and a metal, more specifically, to provide an adhesive composition which can suitably be used for containers, packaging materials, or materials for container lids for food and drug.

The adhesive composition for polyesters is mainly composed of a hydrogenated product of a vinyl aromatic compound-conjugated diene compound-vinyl aromatic compound triblock copolymer to which almost all of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride and/or a ring-opened product are grafted.
