Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an adhesive film excellent in adhesion to printing ink, etc. by blowing an ozone-contg. gas to the molten surface of a plastic film to form an activated surface layer.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene or polystyrene is extruded through a die into film and an ozone-contg. gas is blown onto one or both sides of the film with molten surface through a nozzle 5 connected to an ozone generator 1 to form an activated surface layer on the film. The gas contains 0.5W100g/m3 ozone and is blown in an amount of 10W100ml/m. Then air is blown onto the ozone-treated film 4' by means of an air knife 7 and the film is brought into contact with a chilling roller 6 for cooling.
