PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive fluororubber excellent in adhesiveness, chemical resistance, weatherability, water and/or oil repellency, waterproofness, etc., useful for various kinds of laminates, etc., by graft copolymerization of an unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) to a specific fluororubber.
CONSTITUTION: The objective rubber can be obtained by graft copolymerization to (A) a fluororubber containing vinylidene fluoride as a copolymer component of (B) an unsaturated carboxylic acid, an acid anhydride thereof or ester thereof. The component A is a copolymer composed of 0.5-90mol% of vinylidene fluoride and another fluoroolefin, or a copolymer further copolymerized with another olefin. The amount of the component B to be used is 0.1-10 (pref. 0.2-5) pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A.
