Abstract:
PURPOSE: An adhesive for a filter suitable for gasoline fuel contg. an alcohol, forming an adhesive layer excellent in corrosion resistance to gasoline and an alcohol, which is prepared by compounding a specified triazine as a curing agent with an epoxy resin.
CONSTITUTION: The titled adhesive is obtd. by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. arom., aliph. or alicyclic epoxy resin with (B) 3W15pts.wt. 2,4-diamino-6-[2'-alkylimidazolyl(1')]-ethyl-S-triazine or adduct thereof with isocyanuric acid and, if necessary, (C) a reactive diluent, (D) a filler etc.
EFFECT: Since said adhesive is noncuring at room temp and curable only when heated, it may be prepared in one-pack type, so that it is excellent in processability.
