Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a temp. active adhesive compsn. prescribed with a crystalline polymer.
SOLUTION: This adhesive is an adhesive for medical use having adhesiveness at a temp. not lower than 37°C and contains a polymer as the main component, and the polymer is composed of a unit (a) derived from an acrylic acid ester and/or a methacrylic acid ester whose ester groups contain a 14-22C crystalline linear alkyl group and a unit (b) derived from an acrylic acid ester and/or a methacrylic acid ester whose ester groups contain a non-crystalline alkyl group, and the crystalline polymer starts melting at a temp. T0 (a) and completely melts until the temp. reaches Tm=(T0+15)°C (b), and below T0, it shows almost no tackiness, it shows tackiness if heated from below T0 to over Tm, and shows almost no tackiness if cooled from over Tm to below T0.
