Abstract:
To obtain an adhesive rubber compsn. which can inhibit not only the oxidative degradation of rubber but also the decrease in strength of adhesion to steel cords during the use period of a tire.
At least one peroxide decomposing agent of 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. selected from among thiodicarboxylic diesters, thiourea, thiocarbamates, thiophosphates, hexavalent molybdates, phosphites, thiophosphites, thiophosphates, and phenol derivs. having sulfur and phosphorus atoms in the side chains in incorporated into an adhesive rubber compsn. contg. 100 pts.wt. rubber component comprising a natural and/or a synthetic rubber and sulfur.
