Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. which is flowable and excellent in the adhesion to a polyolefin substrate material and gives, when cured, a silicone elastomer by compounding a silicone base polymer with a specified amt. of a specific polymer. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. silicone base polymer (e.g. a polydimethylsiloxane of which both molecular terminals are blocked by silanol groups) is compounded with 0.5-20 pts.wt. polymer comprising a polyisoprene and/or an isoprene- butadiene copolymer.
