Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive tape roll capable of being easily rerolled, also after stored at a high temperature, by coating one surface of a film substrate with a crosslinked acrylic acid-containing copolymer adhesive, coating the other surface with a heavy peeling agent of hydrophobic monomer-containing copolymer and subsequently rolling up the coated film substrate. SOLUTION: This adhesive tape roll for electric insulation is obtained by coating one surface of a film substrate such as a polyester film with an adhesive agent produced by crosslinking a carboxylic acid-containing acrylic copolymer, and subsequently coating the other surface of the film substrate with a heavy peeling agent of copolymer produced by crosslinking a copolymer comprising a long chain alkyl group-having vinylic monomer (e.g. stearyl acrylate) as a main component and a carboxylic acid, and subsequently rolling up the coated film substrate. Therein, the increase rate of a low speed peeling force is controlled to <=33%, when the adhesive layer of the tape roll is peeled from the upper surface of the heavy peeling agent layer, after the tape roll is stored at a high temperature. Thus, the adhesive tape roll can easily be rerolled, also after stored at the high temperature, but the end of the tape is not peeled, after the tape is wound on an article to be insulated, and subsequently treated at a high temperature.
