Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for applying an adhesive tape capable of positively removing an adhesive tape from an application surface and easily applying it to another application surface.SOLUTION: An apparatus for applying an adhesive tape 1 comprises a multi-jointed robot, an adhesive-tape hold unit 30 that is provided at an arm tip of the multi-jointed robot, and an adhesive-tape pressing unit 40 that has a press member 41 and is provided at the arm tip. The adhesive tape is removed from a first application surface with one end side of the adhesive tape applied on the first application surface held by the adhesive-tape hold unit 30. After depressing the one end side of the adhesive tape onto a second application surface consisting of an outer peripheral surface of a shaft body, the press member 41 is moved from the one end side of the adhesive tape toward the other end side around the axis of the shaft body, thereby applying the adhesive tape onto the second application surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
