PURPOSE: To correctly and safely mount an electronic part manually supplied onto a predetermined position of a tape by slidably providing a positioning member for the electronic part mounted on a part mount.

CONSTITUTION: After an electronic part is manually mounted onto a mounting position 25 on a part mount 24 so that its end comes into contact with a positioning member 28 provided on the part mount 24, the positioning member 28 is moved perpendicularly with respect to a passage 13 of a tape 100, and the electronic part is mounted on an adhesive part of the tape 100 intermittently fed from a feed reel 12. The electronic part mounted on the tape 100 is pressed by a pressing device 22, and after the part is adhered to the adhesive part, the tape 100 is wound around a reel 14. Further the positioning member 28 is equipped with scales for enabling correct position adjustment, so that centers of the electronic part and the mounting position 25 can be easily matched, and the apparatus can be preferably employed for production in numerous kinds by small amounts or a small amount of experimentally produced electronic parts.
