Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a bar screen for dividing materials, such as wood chips, to three streams.
CONSTITUTION: This bar screen, which sieves the wood chips and waste, has at least parallel bars 26 of a first rack 22 and parallel bars 28 of a second rack. The bars of the first rack are interleaved between the bars of the second rack. A first screen width is formed between the bars of the first rack and the bars of the second rack. These racks are driven so as to vibrate respectively at least within a perpendicular plane. The portions of at least part of the bars of the first rack have extension parts 43 inclined beyond the bars of the second rack in order to form the intermediate screen of the first rack bars spaced by as much as the second screen width larger than the first screen width, by which the short extension screen bed having a wide spacing is formed.
