Title:
EARTHWORK BATTER BOARD SETTING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3121762
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting method by which a single worker can easily batter boards for earthwork.
SOLUTION: A traveling object 2 which moves on an existing ground R where a planned ground T is designed is provided with a portable GPS surveying device 5 capable of surveying three-dimensional coordinates of a position of the traveling object 2, a storage device 21 storing the planned ground T, and a computer 20 connected with a surveying device 5x and the storage device 21. An elevation difference between the present coordinates on the existing ground Ri and the plan ground T is calculated by the computer 20 by moving the traveling object 2 to a position Ri selected on the existing ground R and surveying the present coordinates of the position Ri on the existing ground Ri with the surveying device 5. According to the calculated elevation difference, batter boards to indicate cutting depth or banking height or cutting-banking boundary at the position Ri on the existing ground is set.
