PURPOSE: To perform the correction of phase jitter and the drawing of automatic equalizer while keeping the correction of carrier offset, by independently operating the automatic equalizer and phase control circuit after correcting the carrier offset of signal.
CONSTITUTION: LPF1 filters the reception signal and the automatic equalizer 2 equalizes the reception signal to operate reducing error. It is discriminated 14 that the transmitted signal corresponds to which of a plurality of signals, and the phase of the signal received is compensated with the phase control circuit P. Further, in receiving the CD signal among thr training signals transmitted, the signal corresponding to the output signal of the circuit 14 and the reception signal controls the equalizer 2 and the circuit P to correct error of reception signal. Thus, after correcting the carrier offset of the reception signal, the automatic equalizer and the phase control are independently operated to correct phase jitter and draw in the equalizer 2 while keeping the correction of the carrier offset.
