Title:
QUAKE-SENSITIVE POWER CUTOFF SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016200574
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quake-sensitive power cutoff system which allows for installing a circuit for immediate power cutoff and a circuit for delayed power cutoff, both being designed to work when an earthquake occurs, on a single common power line.SOLUTION: A quake-sensitive power cutoff system includes; a vibration sensor 1 configured to detect occurrence of an earthquake and output an earthquake detection signal; a control unit 2 having a transmission unit 23 configured to generate an earthquake occurrence signal for immediately cutting off a specific power route upon receipt of the earthquake detection signal; and an outlet unit 3 having an outlet 31 for connecting electronic devices, a receiver unit 35 for receiving the earthquake occurrence signal generated by the control unit 2, and switching contacts 32 for cutting off power to the outlet 31. A control unit CPU 25 of the control unit 2 outputs a delayed cutoff signal for cutting off all power routes when a predetermined period of time elapses after the vibration sensor 1 detects an earthquake.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
