Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten a rising time of a cooling device and improve an effective cooling capability of a cooling device by a method wherein an outer circumference of an adsorption or desorption device filled with adsorbent for adsorbing or desorbing refrigerant vapor is provided with a jacket for flowing fluid for heating or cooling the absorption or desorption device.

CONSTITUTION: In the case that refrigerant vapor is desorbed by an adsorption or desorption device 1a and three-way changing-over valves 3a to 3f are changed over in such a manner that the refrigerant vapor is adsorbed by an adsorption or desorption device 1b, heating fluid is passed through a flowing pipe 21a of the adsorption or desorption device 1a, adsorbent 2a is heated to cause the refrigerant adsorbed to the adsorption agent 2a to be evaporated and adsorbed. The refrigerant vapor is fed to a condensor 4, cooled with cooling fluid to make refrigerant liquid and this liquid is fed to an evaporator 9 through liquid receivers 6 and 7 so as to cool indoor air. In this case, an outer circumference of each of the adsorption or desorption devices 1a and 1b is provided with jackets 20a and 20b for flowing heating liquid or cooling fluid. During a desorption operation, the heating fluid is passed and during an adsorption operation, cooling fluid is passed respectively so as to shorten the desorption time and adsorption time, respectively.
