To provide an advanced grid structure and its manufacturing method capable of enhancing the thermal conductivity while the structure maintains a lightweight, high strength and high stiffness construction and also a good vibration controllability.
The advanced grid structure 1 is arranged in such an orientation that a geometric pattern is formed where ribs 2-4 in the shape of rectangular parallelepiped are placed crossing one another and equilateral triangles generated are combined. The parts of the ribs 2-4 constituting the perimeter region of this grid structure 1 are configured so that pieces of unidirectional material and vibration controlling material are laid alternately one over another. The parts of ribs 2-4 constituting the central region surrounded by the perimeter region of the grid structure 1 are formed from unidirectional material.
