Abstract:
To solve a problem in which, in an aerial ultrasonic sensor, the acoustic impedance between a piezoelectric material of a source and the air is significantly different, and, generally, a matching layer is provided, but the numerical difference is too large.SOLUTION: There is provided a matching layer that maximizes the value of transmitting the ultrasonic energy generated by a piezoelectric material into the air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
