Abstract:
To provide an aerial defense system configured to defend against large numbers of invasive vehicles.SOLUTION: The aerial defense system comprises: a plurality of defensive aircrafts 102; an aircraft storage system 106 which houses the plurality of defensive aircrafts; an aircraft controller 108 which communicates with each of a targeting system 110 and the plurality of defensive aircrafts; and a human machine interface (HMI) device which provides operator interaction. In its operation, one or more of the plurality of defensive aircrafts may engage the detected threat 104. At least one of the plurality of defensive aircrafts may include a target neutralization device 112 to strike, or otherwise engage the detected threat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
