Abstract:
To provide a self-ligation type orthodontic bracket overcoming the defect of a conventional technique using a spring force.
The self-ligation type orthodontic bracket (10) is designed to connect an archwire to teeth, and includes a metal self-ligation assembly having an archwire slot (38), a ligation member (16) movable between an opened position and a blocked position, and a bracket body (12) structured attachably to the teeth, accompanying the metal self-ligation assembly and furthermore having a nonmetallic material.
