Title:
AGE-HARDENABLE NONORIENTED ELECTROMAGNETIC STEEL SHEET HAVING EXCELLENT BLANKING PROPERTY AND CORE LOSS, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR ROTOR USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004183066
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a nonoriented electromagnetic steel sheet which sufficiently increases the yield strength of a rotor while maintaining high blanking properties and satisfactory core loss, to provide a production method therefor, and to provide a production method for a rotor using the same.

The age-hardenable nonoriented electromagnetic steel sheet comprises, by mass, ≤0.02% C, ≤4.5% Si, ≤2.0Mn, ≤4.0% Al, ≤0.02% S, and 0.5 to 3.0% Cu, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. In the steel sheet, the increase of yield strength by aging treatment at 500°C for 10 hr is ≥100 MPa, and further, deterioration in core loss value is ≤1.5 W/kg.
