PURPOSE: To obtain a wound-curing agent containing a specific peptide (derivative), etc., as an active ingredient, little in the generation of side-effects, having an antimicrobial action, excellent in heat resistance and stability, and useful for the therapy of surgical operations, injuries, burn, etc., containing a specific peptide (derivative), etc., as an active ingredient.
CONSTITUTION: This wound-curing agent contains one or more of a peptide having amino acid sequences of formulas I-V, etc., its pharmacologically acceptable derivatives wherein the carboxyl groups are amidated or acylated, and their pharmacologically acceptable salts such as the hydrochloride as an active ingredient. The wound-curing agent is preferably prepared into an external agent, an oral agent or a subcutaneous administration agent. The oral agent is preferably administered at a dose of ≥100mg per kg of the body, and the subcutaneous administration agent is preferably subcutaneously administered at a dose of ≥20mg per the wound surface.
