To provide an agent for improving physical properties of a resin molded article, which can impart the good appearance to the resin molded article, can restrain restraining bleeding, odor, and fogging, and can improve the abrasion resistance of its surface, and to provide its production method and use.
The agent comprises a polymer prepared by the emulsion polymerization or suspension polymerization of a mixture containing a nonpolar wax having a melting point of 50-100C, a vinyl monomer, and a radical polymerization initiator. Preferably, the mixture further comprises a wax oxide having a melting point of 40-100C. The agent for improving physical properties of the surface is produced through the following two steps: a first step of obtaining the polymer prepared by emulsion polymerization or suspension polymerization of a mixture containing the nonpolar wax, the vinyl monomer, and the radical polymerization initiator; and a second step of obtaining the surface physicality improver by salting out, filtration, drying, and purification in the case of emulsion polymerization or by drying and purification, after filtration, in the case of suspension polymerization.
