Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely prevent the degradation of feed with a simple procedure by adsorbing an aerobic fermentation suppressing agent harmless to man and animal to zeolite powder and adding a small amount of the powder to a silage material.
CONSTITUTION: The objective degradation preventing agent is composed of an aerobic fermentation suppressing agent such as ammonia, caproic acid or propionic acid which is solidified by adsorbing and mixing to zeolite powder. A small amount of the agent is added and mixed to a silage material in the preparation of silage. Addition of a small amount of the agent in the preparation of a formula feed for stick raising is also useful for suppressing the heat- generation and preventing the degradation of feed.
