Abstract:
To obtain an infection-protecting agent reducing risk of bacterial infection and using a safe microorganism, and a food and a beverage or feed having infection-protecting action, reducing risk of bacterial infection and using the safe microorganism.
This infection-protecting agent has a binding property to fibronectin which is a component of an extracellular matrix and comprises a live bacterial cell or dead bacterial cell of a microorganism belonging to Lactobacillus gasseri or broken material of the bacterial cell as an active ingredient.
