Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the title composition especially effective to soft-bodied insects such as spider mite and aphids, and harmless to crops, containing a polyoxyethylene castor oil derivative or a sugar fatty acid ester as an effective component.
CONSTITUTION: An insecticidal composition containing (A) a polyxyethylene castor oil derivative prepared by adding 10W100mol, pref. 20W60mol of oxyethylene to 1mol of castor oil by conventional process, or (B) a sugar fatty acid ester obtained by esterifying sugar with a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid having a carbon number of 8W22, pref. 12W18. It is sprayed or applied as a 0.1W5% aqueous solution or dispersion.
EFFECT: Prevents the generation of resistant-insect.
