To provide an aid for walking a visual impairment person, which easily provide him/her with the information of obstacles around him/her while he/she walks.

A white stick 1 includes the aid 10 for walking a visual impairment person, which the aid 10 have a sensor 11 and the three kinds of vibrating bodies 13a, 13b and 13c. The sensor 11 has the function of directivity and distance measurement. It is a distance sensor that detects whether any obstacle lies within a specified measurement range and is free in varying its obstacle detection angle. The vibrating body 13a is installed at a position on the white stick 1 where the visual-impaired walker's little finger can touch, the vibrating body 13b at a position on the white stick 1 where his/her first finger can touch and the vibrating body 13c at a position where his/her thumb can touch, when he/she holds the grip of the white stick 1 during walk. The aid 10 give the visual-impaired walker the information of an obstacle located around him/her, when the sensor 11 detects it within the set measurement range and vibrates the vibrating body corresponding to this set range.
