Abstract:
To detect defects of an acceleration sensor, using an inexpensive acceleration sensor.SOLUTION: The air-bag device according to an embodiment includes: a prediction unit; and a detection unit. The prediction unit predicts generation of a vibration in a vehicle. The detection unit detects defects of an acceleration sensor on the basis of acceleration data of the acceleration sensor equipped in the vehicle after the prediction unit predicts generation of vibrations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
